Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 12-19-18 for $3.19. Canned on 11-6-18; consumed on 3-22-18. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured unfiltered, with a golden orange color and a decent white head that has some hang time.

Nose is orange and grapefruit forward with some hints of floral hops.

Taste is really well balanced with orange, grapefruit, and pine being forward along with some mango and peach in the background. Malt base is pale malts with the finish being a light citrus rind.

Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and smooth.

Overall an old school WCIPA with the exception of the unfiltered nature of the beer. Solid flavors and balance, dangerously drinkable.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours slightly hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some nice lacing.

S: Big time fruity, tropical, stone fruit, and citrus, a little resinous pine, slight spicy dank herbal notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Zesty citrus, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and orange, tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango, and watermelon, candied orchard fruit, peach, apricot, cherry, and pear, resinous pine, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation.

O: Fun fruity kinda old school DIPA.

A: Gold with slight haze, mild head and sticky lacing.
N: Citrus, mango, hops, and pine.
T: Very resin forward feel with some light citrus, lots of hops, pine, and dryness on finish.
M: Medium
O: OK beer but it was sort of harsh, a softer feel would have allowed flavors to show more.

Hazy golden orange color with a white head. Gorgeous beer. Big spicy, dank citrus notes on the nose, and an earthy malt note as well. Salivation process initiated.

The dank citrus notes are front and center on the taste, and there’s an earthiness underneath the hops that keeps things balanced. I’ve yet to have a beer from Pizza Port that I didn’t love.

Canned 10/24/18

Appearance - Pours moderately hazy and golden yellow in color with some fine sediment found floating around the glass. White, near finger width head displays fair retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass.

Smell - Mild pineapple, lychee, lesser mango and a hint of citrus.

Taste - Follows the nose. Mild pineapple character upfront and throughout. Hints of lychee, mango and crackery malts. Finish hints at some tangerine before some light, pithy bitterness. Aftertaste mostly lingers with that mild pineapple flavor

Mouthfeel - On the lighter side of medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.

Overall - Pretty nice drinker. A bit on the bright, sweet side. A touch of toasted malts or earthiness would go a long way toward giving this a bit of balance. I don't think I could drink two cans in a row.

Canned 10/24/18, consumed 11/5/18

Decent double hazy. Poured hazy but not cloudy gold, small head, ok lacing. More danky floral/herbal than fruity on the aroma and taste. Good medium feel, low-mid bitterness.

Doesn't really stand out in any way but still an enjoyable drink.

I find this beer to be in the in-between.

You know how April showers bring May flowers? Well, this one, Over the Falls, just kind of brings me sadness (because it’s not as good as Raul expected). But don’t get your main man wrong, just because I have the palate of Beyoncé doesn’t mean that I cannot appreciate average things. And to call this beer ‘average,’ is to call Angelina Jolie a troll.

So yeah, just like my first day of life, I just expected TOO much. I wanted TOO much.

But try it yourself so that you know. Ya feel me?

An unfiltered DIPA, it pours a thick, opaque gold with a layer of creamy head

Smells of peach, nectarine, a little resin

Taste is big fruit...sweet orange, some pine and earthiness

Full bodied, hides the 8.3% alcohol well. Nice lingering citrus finish. Not overly sweet or oily, which sometimes happens with higher ABV DIPA's.
