Good mix of yellow and gold colors, even light orange. Almost an inch of white head. Aroma was mild especially for PP.

Taste was old school hop bitterness, those c hops. Bitter. Pale malts.

This was like a blast from the past. Grapefruit for days.

Wow how to handle this review, this beer truly came across like a pale ale from the 90s. Gold and mild orange appearance, small 3/4" head on it. Aroma was very mild hops. Nothing approaching usual Pizza port beers, or some of the uber hopped Zombie Dusts of the world.

Taste, again, fairly easy to put down, just seemed to be lacking the hop quotient that we've become used to drinking from Pizza Port. Plenty bitter, just lacked hop mouthfeel.

I guess its easy enough to say that this is a good pale ale, its just average though for Pizza Port, one of the best producers of pales in the world.

On tap at Churchill's in a snifter.

A: Transparent golden orange with a big soapy white head. Nice retention. Lacing is scattered. Really nice color and the head and lacing are impressive.

S: Orange flesh with a little grapefruit and some pine. Nice hop profile. Malt is faint and crackery.

T: Orange, grapefruit, grainy malt. Hops aren't vibrant like they were in the nose. Bitterness is low. No alcohol. Dry overall, with a little short-lived sweetness around midpalate.

M: Upper light in body with moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is dry and smooth.

Overall: A pretty good pale ale.

A- solid golden and amber color with a white head that is pretty prominent in the pour.

S- Pine and cannabis, with a slight amount of malt in the background. All around pretty week on the aroma and nothing complex.

T- Very clean, a watery grapefruit, with hints of pine in it. I taste a lot of Horizon hops or something of a very bitter alpha acid

M- Although the beer is very clean, there is a very watery taste almost straw. Good a mount of carbonation.

D- This is prob a good session beer, not the best pale pizza port has produced, and it could def use some more work, and a bit more complexity.

On tap in a pint glass, this beer pours a rather light golden straw in color with a half inch of head. Retention and lacing are good.

Smell is of light malts and some c-hops. Taste follows suit. Very nice balance of hops and malts, not too sweet in flavor as evidenced by the light color of the pour. Offers a nice flavor and is a bit dry in the finish. Overall a very drinkable pale that entices but does not overwhelm. Nice to see a local brew that's light in residual malts and has a smooth easy drinking flavor. Will have again.

Pretty good beer
I thought it was a lot like the IPA, just a little less character. Poured nice tan/amber, nose was floral and hoppy. and the taste was solid and balanced, It was plenty hoppy for a regular old Pale ale true with the style of the other beers I've sampled from pizza port. I liked it as an easy to drink beer.

A wonderful example of a fresh American Pale Ale.

Chill hazed golden orange with a half finger white head that remains very sticky though out the drink.

Fresh fruit hops aroma...pears, peach, green apple...ever so faint, but fresh fruit aromas none the less with pear predominating.

Lightly sweet pale malt surrenders quickly to citrus peel hops....both grapefruit peel and orange...the hops come across as very fresh and clean.

Aftertaste is bitter, drying, non-descript. citrus peel.

Mouthfeel is tingly from ample tiny carbonation and a nice crisp hop bite.
