On tap at Stone's 15th Anniversary
A: Very pale yellow color with a thin white cap.
S: Weed, lemon and some lime. Not particularly pleasant.
T: Some dank hops, lime and chalky malt. I would definitely not go for this again. Glad I just got a taster full.

Pizza Port Party Pants Pilsner has a bright yellow body with a white head. The head is close to two fingers tall, bright white in color, and quite frothy looking. Retention and lacing are both pretty good.
The aroma has a good bit of pale, bready, pilsner malt and some spicy hop notes.
The flavor follows the aroma; it is very clean with no off-flavors. The pale malt dominates, with light sweetness and bread flavors. The back end has a little kick of bitterness in the form of spicy noble hops.
As far as pilsners go, This beer is a little too big for my tastes. Too much body and a ramped up carbonation make it feel full and chewy.
Not a bad pilsner at all, went great with my pizza.

On-tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad
A: The pour is a pale straw color with a short lived white head on it.
S: The nose is quite bready and lacks the usual (and unwelcome) sulfur/skunk/lager aroma. A nice bit of floral and spicy hops to it, and we're off to a good start.
T: The flavor is similarly enjoyable. A good bread malt base with a moderate bitterness and good (but subtle) hop flavor in the form of spice and earth.
M: The body is fairly substantial for a pilsener as well, and the carbonation is right in the middle of the road.
D: A very good pils, and one of the better lagers I have come across in recent memory. Certainly a good choice for the non-IPA fan in your crowd.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. The beer is the color of straw and translucent, with a small white head. Retention and lacing are mediocre.
The aroma is of herbal, spicy hops. It smells like Sterling or Saaz. There's a light caramel malt backbone. The flavor is spicy with a little citrus and a low level of caramel malt sweetness. No alcohol is noticeable. The finish is dry and clean.
The beer is light bodied with good carbonation and a clean, crisp mouthfeel.

This is about as straight up for the style as you are going to get here in the US. Solid on all fronts. Pours crystal clear and straw colored with a good strong carbonation that would only have been stronger right off the tap. Head is bright white with good retention and some lacing. Smells are light and dominated by noble hops and a slight grains, maybe an ever so slight hint of DMS.
This is a crisp drinking pils that is well centered on flowery hops up front and in the finish. Nice and dry with a very slight sweetness. Actually a bit more body to it than expected but still pretty light. This is a solid drinker for any time and any place.

Bought a pitcher of this for my wife and her friends visiting from Brasil since they hate a strong hop flavor and amigo wasnt ontap. I got a pint of pliny the elder for me, but had to try a half pint of this just to see. Poured a yellow straw color with thin white head. Smell was faint malt and hop aroma. Taste was semi dry with a little sweetness from the malt, the hops were very faint. Light body with an active carbonation feel bordering on fizzy. But it was a very crisp and smooth beer perfect for drinking at the beach or maybe a party wearing pants. The abv( I'm guessing 4.5%) wasnt listed but from the taste I am guessing it would take a few pitchers to loss those pants and let real party begin.
