North of the Pier is the second installment of our collaboration with our longtime friends at Coronado Brewing Co. This India Pale Ale features a generous amount of northern hemisphere hops which lend flavors of tropical fruit and citrus peel layered with dank and floral aromas. Blanketed with a smooth and easy finish, this is the perfect IPA to spread good cheer between piers (and peers) and beyond!

It's fine. You can drink it while you're in a meeting.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.

S: Mix of pine and citrus, some floral and faint fruity notes, biscuity malt, and a touch of sweetness.

T: Resinous pine, citrus, grapefruit and lemon, strong floral side, subtle underlying fruity notes, peach, apricot, mango, and passion fruit, biscuity malt, and a touch caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Nothing too special, but it's a solid straight forward IPA.

I really don’t know what is going on here. Like, I even think Tesla or Edison had their bad days. And here, in this beverage, I’m going to chalk it up as a bad day at Port and Coronado. It’s definitely not awful, but it tastes... Umm, it tastes... Yeah, no idea. Very plain and maybe just a bit stale like when my baby mama leaves da clip off of the bread.

It has alcohol, so I guess that’s a plus. But the days of getting sloshed for the sake of getting sloshed are over for Raul. I want quality, and then I want to holla at said baby mama.

Yep!

I wanted to like this beer because it came in a pretty can and was sold at Trader Joe's, but my god it smells like a dog fart. Do not recommend.
