On tap at Solana Beach but brewed at their Imperial Beach location. Got the last pint before it kicked so it was free, hell yeah. This style isn’t brewed often enough in the States. Wonderful roasted character and oh so smooth. Drinks light for how much flavor it brings. As good as I expected but still a pleasant surprise.

Turbid dark brown, but shy of black, with a two-finger head of bubbly, khaki lumps.
