Described as new break at blue palms. Poured into a pint glass.
Pours a dark brown, more brown than expected.
Smells of malt, citrus zest and hops. Taste follows the nose with little after taste.

Darker than typical for a Pale Ale, but quite attractive in the pint shaker. Clear and crisp. An ideal quaff. Just a little malt to go with the clean hops. Classic beery aroma with a hint of pine.
On tap at PP in Ocean Beach, and one of the OB regular brews. They say it's brewed with American and English hops.

A: The pour is a clear golden amber color with a nice white head and some sticky lacing.
S: A bit on the malty side with a lot of bread aromas. The aroma is light overall, but there are some hop notes. They seem to be mild citrus, straw, and some grass.
T: The flavor starts off fairly hop forward. Mostly citrus peel with a little bit of bitterness. Some grass and floral hop flavors are also there and the bread and malt provide the bulk of the flavor.
M: Light to medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Sort of underwhelming. Not really hoppy but not all that malty either.
