Plain Porter is making it's return! This is an iconic traditional Irish Porter lending aromas of roasted malt, chocolate and plums, accompanied by flavors of toffee, caramel and a touch of coffee. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and balanced bitterness throughout drive this beer to completion.

Never heard of an Irish Porter so I had to classify this as an English Porter. Was worried this would be more like an Irish Dry Stout but it most definitely is not. This is the classic thin bodied but richly flavored ale of the working class. Great chocolate malt flavor, properly carbonated, finishes well. Not bad for a brewery that focuses on hoppy beers.
