A Collaboration brew for the San Diego Beer News Homebrew Summer 2025 with homebrewer Louie Ilievski. This Rye IPA was brewed with Citra and Talus hops, delivering bold citrus character with layers of grapefruit, tangerine, and a hint of pine at 6.8% ABV. The rye backbone adds a crisp, spicy edge to balance the vibrant hop profile.

Pint from draft at Solana Beach. This is very unique, a delicious take on a Rye IPA! Although it’s certainly light on the rye and heavy on the hops so it’s classic PP. You get some of that spice and earth from the rye and a surprisingly fruity character in the nose and flavor, must be the Talus (& Citra duh). Really nice beer.
