On tap at Pizza Port OB on a 75 degree winter day at the beach. Pint glass. The description reads "Pilsner Lager" so I'm not sure how to classify this and there was nobody to ask.
A: Yellow gold with perfect clarity. Millions of tiny bubbles feed a big soapy white head. Lacing clings to the glass.
S: Clean with grain and light bready notes. Hops are herbal, grassy, and lightly floral.
T: Biscuity and grainy malt notes accompany an assertive hop bitterness. There's a light grassiness and a touch of herbal character. The finish is bitter, crisp, and clean.
M: Light in body with high carbonation. The mouthfeel is dry and crisp.
Overall: A clean and refreshing hoppy pilsner. This was really what the afternoon called for.
