Hazy yellow pour, under a half inch of head in the pint glass. Smells danky hops like amarillo.
Get a lot of simcoe in the taste, all that bitter grapefruit and pine. A little bit of variation when I've had this at different locations. A good offering, but hardly Pizza Port's best.

Pale amber in the pint shaker with a hint of greenish and slightly hazed. Very light bodied, slightly oily, and perfumed with resins and flowery hops. Faint malty flavors and then seriously taken over by the hops. Brewery in San Clemente says it is brewed with Cascades, Simcoe, and Citra hops. They rate it at 6.6% ABV.
Some aromatic hop flavors do provide some interest, but mostly it gets bitter. Tangy and bitter, if you like that sort of thing. The hop flavors are nice at first, but it is another too much of a good thing brew.

Yellow pour, not a great deal of clarity going on, thin head in the below .5" range. Big simcoe aroma, this is almost scathingly simcoe and amarillo. The first time I had it, the beer had me wondering if they just had some old nelson hops, but the latter batch I drank made it clear that this was Simcoe.
Taste, same thing, Simcoe all over it, pine, bitter gold grapefruit are the primary tastes, bitterness is high, but not a one trick pony high, nigh, still an enjoyable kind of simcoe bitterness. The hoppiness is definitely dry and crisp all the way through the mouthfeel. A little bit of Citra and Cascade thrown in for good measure.
Have had this two separate times now at Pizza Port San Clemente, a decent difference between the two tastings. Wish they would put Psuedo IPA on as much as this, but hey, this is good too.

San Clemente, CA
Slightly hazed golden. Creamy near-white head. Regular lines of lace left down the glass. Pretty and appropriate.
Dank aroma: marijuana and pine combine nicely, along with a bit of bitter citrus zest. A touch of sweetness. Complete, and better than the flavor.
Moderate bitterness, marijuana and a little pine, along with bread and sweet caramel. Very drinkable. Classic house IPA for a world-class house.
Medium bodied with near-high carbonation. Crisp.
Very nice, though not a standout in Southern California.
