On-tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad
The beer pours a clear golden with a finger of white head. Opens up with a bit of citrus. Overall, somewhat sweet. Maybe a touch of pineapple and some other mild fruit notes. Decently heavy on the bread as well. The flavor is a bit too sweet. Quite a bit of malt/bread flavor to it. A nice touch of citrus, pineapple, and other sweet fruits, but it is lacking in bitterness.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad.
A: Dark orange with great clarity and a finger of dense white foam.
S: Orange and tangerine flesh with a light caramel backbone. The fruit is nice, but not super expressive.
T: Tangerine, orange, and grapefruit. Light pine resin notes. Maltier than you'd expect from a Pizza Port IPA, with traces of bread and caramel. Smooth and moderately bitter.
M: Medium body with upper medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is dry and sticky.
Overall: A pretty good IPA, but not up to Pizza Port Carlsbad standards.
