Cask at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Pours a clear golden color with a soapy white head. Tequila comes through on the nose, moderate wood, and lots of chili pepper. Quite spicy on the nose with some mild smoke. The hoppiness of the base beer barely sneaks through. A better citrus and hop flavor to the beer, some bready malt to it as well. There is a moderate spiciness, some light smoke, and a hint of tequila. A bit of wood flavor and a very mild bitterness.
