Treated as a pumpkin ale, this was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a thin white dissipating foamy head. Barely any lace. The aroma starts off with a pumpkin sweetness roaming into some subtle crisp sweet wheatiness. Light vanilla with some bubblegum and then some grassy tones. Light ginger to allspice. The flavor leans to the sweet side with a fair grassy underneath. Dry woodiness rolls over the pumpkin taste and then lingers on into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Ginger to allspice harshness feels good. Overall, different for a pumpkin ale. But I think Voodoo was trying to amp this up a bit differently than just a regular pumpkin ale. I think I could come back to this.

This is a Belgian wheat dry stout brewed with pumpkin and spice.

Love this pumpkin beer. Not overly sweet or overly spiced like the norm these days. Stout is, in fact, dry. And lightly spiced. Slight chocolate. Toasty character. Perfect for nitro tap. Not only is this a good pumpkin beer, but this is a damn good stout, In general. Very well balanced and smooth.

Nitro offering at Als of Hampden served in a tulip shaped pint glass. The brew appears black in color with a rich, slick looking finger of frothy topping that only nitro can produce. The cap is tan to brown with thick patches of lace sticking to the glass.

The aroma is spicy like cinnamon ans nutmeg overtop a milk chocolate sweetness that has a minor amount of roasty appeal.

The flavor is bitter and roasty with coffee and earthen character leaning towards char. A noteable amount of spice primarily like cinnamon and nutmeg are felt throughout. The grain quality is minor and alcohol is barely noticeable.

This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It has a very rich, slick and thick feel from the nitro that goes down very smooth. Quite solid stuff here. If you are familiar with the Headless Horseman of the past, this has a lot of familiarity to that brew.
