Thank you Tommyguz for the hookup. 32oz growler into a voodo snifter. The brew appears a clear copper color with a white finger atop that leaves a full wall of lace as it fades. As the cap collapses, it leaves spotty lace coating.
The aroma has a slight touch of minerals and hoppy vegetative aspect like grass and herbs. The nose really doesnt pop with any distinguishable note that screams nugget but at the same time it isnt terrible either, it is just a little lackluster.
The taste continues with the mineral feel and mild fruity aspects. Some lightly grassy and vegetative aspects with pulp and orange rind bitterness. The taste too doesnt really pop with a distinctive nugget flavor but collectively it is decent for a pale ale.
This is a light bodied brew with moderate carbonation. It is easy drinking but with a mineral aspect that is a little displaced. The aroma is somewhat forgetable and without really anything notable. The flavor carries enough bitterness and a slight nod in the direction of linear nugget flavor. A decent experiment in learning to distinguish hop character. Id drink it again if offered to me but would prefer some of their other offerings instead.
