Thanks Tom and Curt for the hookup on this 1-liter growler. Poured into a matching voodoo 22oz snifter. The brew appears a clear light golden copper color with a few big bubbles resting atop.
The smell is fruity and zesty with citrus rind, pulp and zest with light floral appeal. A very mild but enjoyable smelling brew that really evolves and starts to show its unique character once warm.
The taste is dry, with a grassy herbal bitterness. The fruited character of the nose does not transcribe to the taste like the nose suggests. It has a faint bready grain aftertaste but still is easily drinkabke.
This is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Very enjoyable but a little one-noted like some single hop beers are without the assistance of other hop character. Overall this was an enjoyable learning experience to take note of what belma is like.

When I drink this beer, I think to myself: this is a professionally brewed beer. Clean and very well made. Nice hop influence. Grassy thing going on with a kind of spiced edge from hops. It's a pleasant drinker, though nothing really crazy. Easy drinking.
