Thanks TommyGuz for the hookup. Growler poured into a matching Voodoo teku, the brew appears a golden to burnt copper color with a white head that holds well.
The smell is catty and herbal with some fruity pulp highlights and zestiness. As it warms up, it gets even more fruity and floral with a brightness that was lacking a bit while it was colder.
The taste is bitter and fruity like orange rind/pith. This is somewhat catty and dank with a grassy resinous edge. A touch of bready malt sweetness is present but not too much. It has almost a slight burnt character to the finish.
This is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. An ipa that is a step in a different direction for Voodoo but still damn tasty.
