Canned 6/7/2022
Served in a jelly glass cuz I'm fancy as fuck.

Two fingers off-white head. Cloudy light orange body. Minimal retention and lacing. Smells like a traditional Hefe, just way subdued in the spice department. It really lets the wheat shine. Who knew wheat could smell so tasty? Taste like it smells just with some added banana. Doesn't get bogged down in an overwhelming clove note as this style often does. Lively carbonation keeps it from feeling heavy. If you like your Hefeweizens a little subdued, this may just be for you.

A hazy copper color with a thick white head.
Aroma of fruit and spice. On the meek side.
Taste of banana, orange, and clove.
Medium-bodied, easy to drink.

-spiegelau ipa glass.

A: A towering firm ivory head mushrooms well above the rim with a staggering 3 finger height that was rock solid. The carbonation is composed of loosely fitted macro-bubbles that rise at a moderate pace. The head was stubborn, refusing to fall leaving bit sloppy patches of lace. Dark glassy orange coloring.

S: Fermented peaches, wet moss, and a touch of sour lemon first on the nose. Hints of turning apricots, along with a fresh wet forest scent. Some musky wheat and pilsner malts.

T: The flavor had funky oranges, funky pilsner malts with a some dry hay. Dry and grainy, good German style hefe-yeastiness. Dried cloves, banana chips and some bubble gum yeastiness. Spritzy bubblegum and dry estery notes of apple-plum and dry honeycomb.

M: Lively mouthful, medium body, grainy feel and a dry powdery leave.

O: Decent, spicy, hoppy, with Bavarian malts. Good tradition German hefe-yeastiness that had sharp and pronounced flavors.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed golden amber pour with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Great retention and lacing.

S: Banana and wheat. Grains and light citrus.

T/F: Follows. Wheat/grainy... strong banana/yeast esters and light lemon. Mild thyme and coriander add some herbal/spice to the brew. Relatively light bodied... soft carbonation. The finish is more grains and citrus.

O: A pretty solid Hefeweizen. Nothing crazy special but a good beer and true to style.

Might of had a can flaw, but this one had zero carbonation to it. Hard to drink when it’s that flat, but the aroma and taste were not that offensive.

Growler into a large weizen glass appears hazy golden with a white cap that fades leaving stringy lace.

Aroma of clove, pear and apple with some citrus and other fruited qualities.

Taste is wheaty with clove spice, apple, pear, clove and bubblegum. A solid representation of the style.

Medium in body with modest carbonation. Really decent and per style, this one grows on me the more I drink it.

Cloudy gold-yellow with a densely thick beige head dying to a thin ring leaving a massive array of microdot lace on the glass.

Smell is wheat banana bread and light spice. However there's a touch of resinous citrus or dankness in there somewhere.

A full, soft and frothy body brings flavors of banana bread, and crisp, spicy phenols.

The ultra fluffy thick head from the super slow pour softens the start of light clove spice blooming at wheaty zucchini bread but with a touch of herbal bitterness.
