Crowler into a snifter appears dark brown with a khaki head that fades leaving a full wall of lace.
The aroma is citrusy earth, char, roast, coffee and tobacco.
It tastes roasted and earthen with a mineral to citrus aspect with anise in the aftertaste.
This is light in body with modest carbonation. A really easy drinking porter that I can get behind. Hard to believe this is 9%, its drinks like its half that.
