Thanks to JLindros for sharing this bottle.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark black hue with a one finger mocha head that fades to leave thin wisps, excellent legs and retention.

S - Big aromas of cocoa nibs, dark malts, creamy, little earthy roasty, light dark fruits.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice heavy roast, good dark malts, little coffee, good dark fruits, incredibly acrid roast.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, alcohol hidden nicely.

O - Overall this was a solid beer, nice chocolate but the acrid roast is really unpleasant.

THanks to David, shared with rudzud
Fair fluffy rich creamy darker head, fluffy with nice lacing, nice retention, nice lacing, just about pitch black and long legs

Nose big dark chocolate, cocoa, big fudgey with lots of cocoa nibs, a little coffee and roast, nice fluffy nougat and a little cookie dough, fudgey like, even a touch of dark fruits, a bit of licorice

Taste brings loads more chocolate, quite bitter spicy hop and a little bitter roast, roasted coffee, some roasted malt, bitter coffee, plenty of raw cocoa nibs and dark chocolate, cocoa a little fudgey but less than the nose, some char and acrid roast, mild cookie dough nougat notes, plenty of licorice as well, earthy char, hops come on super spicy and bitter briny, spicy finish bit briny hop and very dark chocolate and roast

Mouth is heavier bod, rich, nice fluffy carb, very little booze, but astringent

Overall pretty nice, great chocolate but base beer was way too hoppy spicy briny etc.

Pounder can into a snifter appears black in color with a khaki head.

Aroma is a little carbonic/mineral laden with black licorice, something green and roasty/earthen with a tinge of fruity raison appeal.

Taste roasty and earthen with a bit of tobacco, char and black licorice. There is a weird greenness about this along with a mineral and carbonic aspect im not crazy about.

This is medium to fuller bodied with a touch excessive carbonation. Not explosive but its a slow gusher and being so has imparted a bit of mineral/carbonic character. As far as BBVD goes, the coffee version was amazing and on a whole different level, I honestly dont like this version any more than the plain base beer but its still good nonetheless.
