Brent can eat a dick. I pick up lottery winnings all the time and try to have a pint there when I can but often it's not possible. Wanting to patronize the bar staff I asked for a 4 pack of some type of pale ale or ipa and wasn't really thinking when i forgot to state NO NEIPAs.
My fault for buying this. Man I hate this style for all the reasons this beer exemplifies. Looks like turbid orange juice. Smells okay. Tastes like 50/50 orange juice and battery acid. Feels like acid and too much carbonation. Overall i have 3 more to send as pluses if i do any beer trades soon i guess?

Opaque straw yellow with an off-white foam head of moderate height settling to a sparse film and fuzzy uneven collar clinging in doily ridges.
Quite spicy and lightly peppery at first, it becomes even more forward of acidic green hops nearing aspirin qualities in the middle. The primary flavor profile is sharp mango puree with a mild exhale of biscuit that comes back to bitingly tropical hops that hint at Smarties.
A tingly carbonation cuts through the medium body but froths up to a dankly resinous, just dry finish exhaling a little heat. This is unexpected for the ABV, but makes it more apparent that they really pumped the contemporary hops up here. As such, this latest batch (13) might be a little better in a week or two.

Crowler into a tulip appears muddy brown orange with white soapy cap that fades leaving full wall of lace.
The aroma is fruity and tropical with a dusty hop pellet almost cheesiness that is quite appealing.
It tastes juicy with tropical hop flavoring, very lowkey bitterness with a pithy rindy aftertaste.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Absolutely crushable, wish I had more than just a crowler as it went down pretty easy/fast.
