Clear honey-amber with a short khaki head that fizzles out to a spotty film and bubbly ring.
Bready malt and a a light tang of yeast that's a bit fruity--like green grape or a hint of pear skin--give way to very subtle yet uniquely abrasive oak that's almost metallic if not slightly dank or musty like old carpet, unless that's in part due to the hops.
The light body is a bit watery if not for a slightly crackly, unevenly distributed carbonation that comes to an oddly waxy, almost chewy finish.
