double new england style ipa, i liked it a lot better through the first half than i did through the second, cool hop profile, but a really heavy hazy thick one, hard to drink a lot of, and even a globe of it felt like a little more than i wanted. still, flavorful and better than a lot of the other voodoo beers ive had so far, partly because this one is not suffering from any apparent freshness issues as the others mostly have. looks like orange juice with milk swirled in, washed out pale orange, creamy white head, looks frothy and rich, not sloppy, just a little intimidating. the hops are vic secret and galaxy, a nice aussie mix popping with fresh fruitiness, honeydew, key lime, white wine grape, sweet orange candy, taffy, and vanilla creaminess. the flavor is right there too, so much from the hops, kaffir lime leaf, orange juice, zested tangerine, not quite as punchy as it smells but pleasant still. a bit sweet from the grain without being conventionally malty, like there could be lactose in here, confectioners sugar, some lemon late, starchy and floury, a faint ester from the ferment but more tidy than others they do. finally, just a little alcohol warmth at the end but no more than that. smooth and long, lighter than expected bitterness, flavorful and distinctive from these hops, solid.

Opaque mango puree orange with a tall dense white head leaving cheetah print lacing.

Aroma is dank cannabis with musty graham and catty Sweet Tarts, while taste is juicier of citrus. Here within the fluffy medium body, that graham malt hangs around and brings with it a good kick of alcohol, while some catty mustiness accents. A triple sec punch comes out on the cotton dry finish.
