Canned 7/12/22
Pours a crystal clear pale straw with big fat bubbles feeding a modest one finger head. It thins out in rapid fashion with zero lacing. Smells of herbal and floral hops with an odd, almost Hefeweizen-like note. I don't quite know what to make of that. It's there on the tongue, too, right up front before the hops corral things. Also tastes a bit beefier in the malt department than a typical Czech pilsner. I don't mind but it's not exactly true to style. The oak-aging gives it a very weak, watered-down bourbon note. Medium-bodied with a mellower-than-anticipated carbonation. Again, I don't mind; it drinks easy. Finishes dry. Is perfectly drinkable, but as the other review states, it's a bit off-style.

Clearly shimmering solid gold with a short khaki head settling to a fine chain leaving some coral lacing.
I had super high hopes for this one, but it's got a faint hint of Belgian phenols in the background. I enjoyed the overall bitter, herbal qualities, light bready wheat, and hints of pear or melon, but there's also a touch of caramel malt that detracts as it warms.
The moderate body has a light airy froth and finishes bone dry.
It's an ok pils, but it's a bit unusually off-style.
