Boy that's an ugly one ain't it? Appearance is foggy and strangely pale brown under a short fuzzy tan head that dies to a thin chain leaving some fine blobs of lace on the glass. And this was on draft at the brewpub in Meadville!
The experience continues to translate as unusual on the palate, with a uniquely toasty malt that is accented by a light oregano spice and a PEZ tang. I mean seriously, the oregano character keeps impressing itself after every sip, like, "yep, I totally resemble oregano, don't I"...but why? The old lady even kept identifying it as ranch, Cheez-Its, and pickles, and this was before we got our food. Fuckin weird, yet strangely not undrinkable.
The medium frothy body finishes tingly semi-dry.
