Our seasonal barleywine brewed with over 200 pounds of real pumpkin and aged this year in Heaven Hill bourbon whiskey barrels with Madagascar vanilla beans, even more pumpkin and a hint of cinnamon.

Chill hazed but otherwise clear amber-brown with a short head of khaki bubbles that clings in a doily ridge before fizzling out quickly.
It smells bready as it pours, but taste is far more assertive than the cheesecake variant, nearing too boozy. However, that mellows out to an earthy, squashy character spiked by a touch of whiskey and a faint hint of cinnamon bark.
It's not unlike the caramelized edge of the pie filling just before the crust.
