Pouring chocolate brown but filling to nearly black, the red edged yet mahogany body builds a tall tan foam head that retains as spongy while leaving wavy, fuzzy lacing over a condensed, creamy blanket.
A lightly oak-accented cocoa nose gives way to a simultaneously tangier yet more assertive palate of bold roast, tobacco, mild pinewood, and more cocoa. The velvety moderate body exhales a pleasant ash after the delicately paper dry finish.
This is perhaps Voodoo's most successful foeder-aging outcome.
