I'm surprised to see this non-barrel aged nitro pour displaying a clear amber-red under a short but creamily dense khaki head.
An exceedingly silky smooth and especially fluffy up front feel quickly cuts to a biting almost piney bitterness and a slightly sharp booze. An otherwise mild, nutty malt is fairly well blanketed by that startling bitterness before finishing semi-dry. It's not overwhelmingly bitter, just moreso than is typical for the style.
