Overly malty, piney, and resinous, but therer is a fruity aroma and taste that is pretty intense and pleasant.

Pours a deep, golden amber with a sturdy head and a big aroma of citrus, pine, and dank hops. The flavor follows with bright bitterness, resin, and a touch of malt sweetness for balance. It has a smooth, medium-full body and a bold finish.

Deep amber color, chill hazed but not "hazy" as in NE with a good head of foam that slumped quickly.
Aroma is malt forward with fruity notes of pears, apples and citrus.
Flavor is malt bomb up front - refreshing in todays hop dominant world but a bit heavy up front somehow in a good way. Flavoring hops come in right away to balance the caramel sweetness with sharp grapefruit and hints of sour cherries.
Body is full or nearly so, malt sugars envelope the tongue while tart fruitiness tingles.
Finish is long and bitter with green grass and hot pepper character lingering.
A bit strong overall in ABV and unrefined flavor profile this is one I'd have again if I had nothing to do after.

Had this on 2024-11-24 on tap at their place in Pittsburgh.
L - pretty clear copper with light lace
S - Brown bread with orange marmalade
T - Old school West Coast DIPA. Nice malt, orange peel and moderate lingering bitterness.
F - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth.
O - first rate. Will have again.

Had on tap at their State College location.
LOOK: Pours a mildly hazy amber with orange hues with a small tan head that does show some decent side lace in their plastic solo cup.
AROMA: Dank, pine resin, and acerbic hops.
TASTE: Sharp tart hops with a solid malt backbone.
FEEL: The high ABV is not evident in either aroma or taste.
Solid imperial style West Coast IPA.
Actually lived in Meadville when I worked at Allegheny College in the 1970's..

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had subtle pine resin notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bold semi sweet caramel malt base with subtle bittering pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Dark amber with a densely creamy off-white head clinging in a short ridge.
Dang that's a dank, resinous, and spicy West Coaster. But it also has a bit of tang, like reduced citrus nearing PEZ or something like it.
Crisp and refreshing despite the higher horsepower, with a balancing bitterness.
