Poured on tap a few hours ago into a clean, clear glass at the brewpub. Review from notes taken at the brewpub.
A Hazy, opaque orange body under a minimal, brief but creamy head. Good lacing on glass after repeated sips. 4.0
S Rye grains, sweet malt. Inviting. 4.0
T Strong rye presence but balanced with gently sweet malt. This is a mature tasting rye beer. 4.5
M Moderately thick, smooth despite the slight bite of the rye. 4.0
D/O Excellent drinkability. Overall this is a very solid brew. 4.0
Notes: Not my favorite style but good to very good version of it. I am not surprised since it comes from the always good Voodoo Brewery.
