Bottle #1111 2017 vintage. Pours out black and flat. Aroma is boozy and strong. Taste is much mellower, roasty and sweet with the booziness coming in late with a mild burn.

Side by side with PvW and AB variants.
Very bourbonny from the smell but with also distinctive earthy notes. Taste is roasted malt, cocoa and bourbon. Pleasant dry, earthy finish.
Full bodied, sticky but not too sweet, the less alcoholic variant.
I did prefer this a lot compared to the newest BT variant I had some weeks before, it is far more refined and less boozy. Top notch BA stout.

Another example of the great barrel aging that Voodoo can do. The beer poured out as a rich deep black color with a very thin brown head on top. The smell of the beer is loaded with bourbon notes along with some chocolate also. The taste is very nice, lots of bourbon, dark chocolate, some subtle spiciness in there too. Overall this beer is excellent, well worth checking out if given the chance.

Barrel was muted, probably due to the age of the beer. Even still, the flavor was a great blend of bourbon, oak, char/roast, chocolate, and vanilla. A very savory beer. Mouthfeel was impeccable; substantial but not too much so that it detracted from everything else.
