Voodoo Brewing Company Jenny’s Cream Fraiche
Voodoo Brewing Company July 6th, 2013. Review from notes taken on that day.
On tap at the pub, clean, clear glass
A Light body, creamy head, kind of boring look. 3.0
S Distant cream ale smell. This smell is comforting but not that interesting. 3.0
T Your basic Cream Ale. It hits on the right note but it is not a dynamic version of the style. Frankly, I strain to recall a dynamic tasting Cream Ale. 3.0
M Smooth for sure, a typical trait of the style. 3.5
D Excellent drinkability. Overall, an average Cream Ale from a well above average brewery. Hey, they all cannot be stellar! 4.0

Tap
Pours a very light clear gold, white lacing for a head.
Tastes of light grassy malts with a hint of citrus.
Flavor is very light, grassy malts with a bit of citrus.
Thin body with a clean feeling, light carbonation.
This is a very light, clean beer, highly sessionable, not too much flavor, but brewed to be easy to drink which it is. Nothing special but a good thirst quencher and easy to pair with many foods.
