Very yellow gold appearance with a decent white head, some retention. Very mellow, sour fruity smell. Light body, fairly malty, with some fruity and sharp complexity. Finish was mellow, not too hoppy at all, very crisp beer. Not bad at all, if youre in the area and a fan of the style, definitely worth trying.

Poured golden with a white fluffy head that was fairly well-retained and left some lacing.
The smell, while not overly powerful, was fruity with a hint of caramel. Mild - pleasantly unexpected.
The taste was well-balanced. It was relatively sweet with bitterness emerging. It was medium-bodied. Both the caramel-like malt and the fruity hops were noticeable, though but were fairly mild, making it very smooth.
The body was thicker than I expected. Many times, this style is made at brewpubs for the less venturesome, but this had body and taste. I was pleasantly surprised.
One of the best of the style I've had - the flavors stick around - an all-round good brew.

Appearance-nice golden blond color, decent amount of head that leaves quickly.

Smell-nice hop flavor, very big grain aroma, a lot going on.

Taste-lighter than I thought, lot of hops come out with the grain on the palette and then trickles down easy.

Mouthfeel-easy going down, nice taste, a strong aftertaste lingers.

Drinkability-this beer's strong flavor and light character has made it Gaslight's flagship and best-seller, you can have as many as you want.

Overall-a fine blonde ale, Gaslight is very proud of this beer and it makes sense to try this first before having some of their others. This is the beer I usually have my friends try first, then move them on to other types. At any rate, this is a good beer that like the Pale Ale should most definitely be tried while at the Gaslight.
