Appearance-jet black darkness with a decent sized foamy head, head sticks around with decent staying power finally dissapearing slowly.
Smell-alcohol is present, I also detect some spicy berry malt underneath, hops are prevalent but buried under the malt.
Taste-bitter at first, berry and other fruit flavors hit you upfront, followed by a sneak attack from the alcohol, the beer travels down relatively well.
Mouthfeel-I like the fruity undertones of the brew, it goes down realatively well, slight burn at the end from the alcohol.
Drinkability-this is good stuff but it's definitely sipping style, be careful it has a sneaky alcohol punch.
Overall-staying true to the style as always this is another fine brew. Sipping style so beware the kick but the use of fruit and other sweet malts can definitely be found under the alcohol. A nice job.
Editor's Note: This is actually a Scottish Ale, I was an idiot and put the wrong thing down, I told the brothers but if they don't fix it for a while here's my disclaimer.
