Pours pitch black with a white creamy head. Creamy lacing sticks to glass.
The smell is of roasted dark malt, earthy hops in background. Touch of charcoal smokiness.
The taste is of dark, slightly smoky malt. Hints of chocolate and coffee come through. Earthy hops round out the malt nicely. Finishes with a roasted candy-like sweetness.
It has a creamy, medium, smooth body.
This hit the style nicely. Exceptionally smooth and drinkable. Very good brew!
