Irish Coffee Stout

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a dark brown color with a film of a white foamy head. Quickly falls off, sly lace. The aroma had some milk chocolate sweetness, sweet cream, light toffee, then some coffee beans, somewhat roasty with a touch of it’s own sweetness from it. The flavor leans sweet with a mild roast trying to make a decent effort of coming in. Imbalanced aftertaste of the sweetness coming across decently and rolling into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable sort of mild feel to it. ABV felt fine. Carbonation as well. Creaminess seems to mildly into the roast for a nice balance in this department. Overall, nicely done coffee stout. Seemed like I was drinking an Irish coffee, to be honest.
