Pours golden amber with a thin white lasting head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is of some doughy yeast, some grainy maltiness and some floral notes.
The taste is of some dough, with a mild fruity alcohol note. A mild floral touch gives a bitterish balance to the honey-like, grainy sweetness in the finish.
Light-bodied, though with a mild kick. Carbonation level is fine.
It has a nice hop touch while remaining characteristically sweet. Could be a bit cleaner, I suppose. Overall, this is a pretty easy-drinking Maibock (despite slight alcohol touch).

Had on tap with dinner tonight.
A - A reddish amber color with one finger of white head that fades to a capper and leaves some nice lacing on the glass.
S - A very malty sweet aroma with a hint of alcohol. Nice and inviting.
T - Big, sweet malts up front with a bit of fruitiness, berries perhaps. Has some alcohol kick and a nice burnt flavor along with the sweet fruity malts.
M - Nice and smooth, not overly carbonated.
D - Goes down nice and easy and made a pretty good compliment to the spicier dish I enjoyed.

It pours a clear, dark gold with a thin white head. It does leave some good lace on the glass. The aroma is malty with some fruitiness (apple?) and some hops. It has an ever so slight nutty maltiness and a touch of sweetness. It goes down smooth and finishes with some bitterness and alcohol. It is malty, but despite that it finshes quite clean. A good Maibock.
