Pours a fairly pale yellow. White head. Nose is slightly sweet. Flavor is interesting. Much sweeter than I would have expected. Much. Slight bite of what comes off as grain tones. It seems like there is that apple tone on there as well. (like the Victorias Golden Ale) Quite slick liquid feel. Boisterous carbonation. Real easy to drink. Definite session brew.

Had on tap at JJ Bitting. Smelled earthy and mellow with grassy notes, not too much hop smell. Taste was similar to smell, very grassy with a nice crisp hop aftertaste. Light body, fairly watery but the aftertaste made it worthwhile. Defnitely worth trying. Not bad at all, but could benefit from more body.

On tap at he JJ Bitting Brew Pub.
Poured a medium and clear golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of light spices with some grass. Tastes of stronger spices and grass. Lightly sweet finish. Nice lacing left on glass.
Notes from 9/3/05.

Straw yellow without the usual carbonated appearance for the style. However a thin, creamy head left some lacing.
Aroma? Hardly to be found...there was something of a faint unfinished aroma to it.
The taste was of mild, sweet malt - maybe some floral notes. Claims to have Saaz hops, but they are hardly distinguishable. Like the aroma, it had an unfinished taste, with something like a wort taste to it. Wondering if this wasn't pulled to early. Some hops finally came through in a washed-out finish. Watery thin.
It wasn't undrinkable for all that, but something was "wrong" here I think. My gut instinct that it wasn't quite finished. I'll try to have it again in a few weeks to see if improves, and re-rate.
