First, you are greeted by that distinctive yellow/amber/tinged color that the Hefeweizen is distinguished by. Soft and not too cloudy. Banana aromas eclipse all other scents present in the room as this one is hoisted up. Great malted wheat presence. Not too carbonated, but definitely bodied. With or without the lemon this is an excellent selection when available; better than a Paulner. Too bad none is being brewed in '02. I'll miss it dearly this year
