Pours reddish amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing on the glass.
The smell is very soft. Some sweet, roasted malt. Non-offensive, but almost undetectable.
The taste is of sweet, grainy malt. Roasted grains with some balancing hops in the finish.
It's light-bodie, smooth, a balanced malt sweetness lingers. It's a nice, basic, easy-drinking red ale. It has a pleasant aftertaste. With that and the modest abv level, this makes for a fine "session" ale.

Growler poured into a shaker pint glass.
A - Hard pour yields a very nice translucent red colored ale topped with a finger and a half of off white head. head shrinks to a cap but laces fairly well on the glass.
S - Smell includes some toasty malts and some sweetness.
T - Has a nice taste with roasted malt coming through all the way. Very mellow, smooth tasting red. Some hops appear at the end and lend some nice balance to this mild brew.
M - A nice fairly full feel for an easy drinking session ale.
D - A very nice session ale. What an Irish Red should be. One you can have a few pints of without getting trashed. Good with food or without and clean tasting.

Beautiful red color with a white head and some lace. Floral aroma with hints of sweetness. Light to medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Starts sweet with some carmel and a hint of roasted malt. Finishes with the hops coming into the play to nicely balance this mellow brew. Goes great with a meal.
