Pours hazed amber with a thin head. Some lacing sticks.
The smell is of pumpkin spicings - nutmeg, ginger, all-spice.
The taste is of pumpkin pie spices with a firm caramelish malty backbone and a hint of earthy hops. This is well-balanced. The spices enhance the malty character and aren't overwhelming, making this one a very drinkable version of the style!
Nicely done!

considering this is a 2 week old growler and went without refrigeration for almost a week due to sandy, there is a great deal of carbonation and head from this growler. cloudy amber in color.
smells of typical pumpkin pie spices, nothing too exciting.
a bit breadier tasting than most pumpkin ales, slight sweetness but it seems like it may be heaviest on the ginger flavor.
medium carbonation, light/medium body, crisp yet a malt profile that makes it seet and distinct.
i really enjoyed this one. i was getting sick of the pumpkin beers so this was a nice change from the standard pumpkin pie flavor.
