A clear, dark amber but not quite copperish body is capped by a thin lid of antique white lace that fades shortly but leaves some nice splashes of lace about the glass. The nose is restrained, but does offer some delicate maltiness. In the mouth it's smooth with a medium-light body and moderate carbonation that lends a gentle caress to the palate. The flavor is malty sweet with a healthy dose of caramel thrown in; and it's laced with some leafy, grassy hops (Fuggles?). The bitterness is restrained, as it should be; yet it still finishes fairly dry with just some mild residual malt and a touch of leafy/earthy hops that lingers. It's quite authentic, and very well done. A nice quaff; and an excellent session ale.

Appearance: A medium-dark amber color with a nice, frothy, off-white head, then a sustaining lace.
Aroma: A mild fruitiness at first, then some grain aroma. Some floral hop, too. There is also a slight whiff of alcohol.
Taste and Mouthfeel: An overall grainy flavor, with some toasted and tasty caramel notes as well. Hop bitterness balances very well, and is very noticeable in the finish. A mild (very mild) hint of alcohol. Medium-bodied mouthfeel, with mild carbonation.
Really not bad at all, a very drinkable beer, THE perfect session beer. Recommended.

Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewpub. This was slightly hazy and orange-amber in color with some red hues in there. The aroma yields some caramel sweet maltiness, but bland overall. Some light bitterness along with a soft maltiness comes out in the flavor. A modest beer on the whole, but also weak in just about everything. (Hey, it is a mildÂ…) Very drinkable, although not much depth. I enjoyed it.

Pours a light amber color with a medium thin light beige head. Very thin lacing. The aroma is lightly floral. Light and smooth, the flavor has a nice caramel malt kick which was a little surprising. The finish is lightly sweet and malty. Not a bad Mild.
