I never would have guessed this was a Dubbel until I asked after sampling it. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium thin beige head. The aroma consists of roasted coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied with a pleasantly roasty aspect, and flavors of malt, banana, clove and chocolate. I kind of thought this leaned toward a Porter except for some of the flavors. Interesting nonetheless.
