Clear brown in color with a thin 1/4" head. The aroma is of light roasted malt. The flavor is of roasted malt, mild chocolate, and a hint of nuttiness. Light bitterness rounds out the flavor.
This was light-medium in body. The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth at the start with a dry finish. The roasted tones linger softly on the tongue. Nicely drinkable as a session brew.
