Brown in color with a 1" head. Some minimal lacing develops during the drink. The aroma is of roasted malts, hints of bourbon, and a mild earthy quality. The flavor is full of roasted malts, chocolate, mild bitterness, and a mellow smokey tone from the peat malt that is used.
The mouthfeel is smooth at the start and mildliy crisp at the finish. Chocolate tone and smokiness softly linger on the tongue. Extremely nice drinkability and worth trying if it is available.
