Appearance: A cloudy, orange/amber color. A foamy white head that quickly turns to a thin lace.
Aroma: Sweet, fruity maltiness is most noticeable. A mild hop aroma in the background.
Taste and Mouthfeel: Very sweet and fruity. Also, some pleasant complexity to it: clove, yeasty banana zest flavor (very pronounced), and some raisin as well. A spicy alcohol bite, too. A subtle hop bitterness throughout, but is most detectable in the finish, which is enjoyable dry. A fairly light mouthfeel with tangy carbonation.
Quite good; the fruity sweetness and the spicy complexity make this a very enjoyably brew. The sweetness and the mild hop bite give this beer a very drinkable sweet and sour quality. Im glad I picked up a growler of this after class today (my first growler purchase, BTW, woo-hoo!). Recommended.
