Here's the little blurb from the brewerys website:
MoonLight Ale- Our Light Ale is a refreshing beer, thats mild in flavor and color. Brewed with Pilsner malt producing a delicate body and hue balanced by a gentle touch of hops leaving a crisp, clean finish.
Appearance: A very clear amber color. A foamy white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma: A strong grain aroma with a mild floral hop hint as well.
Taste and Mouthfeel: The pilsner malt comes through really well with this one, imparting that heavy grain flavor with a very noticeable caramel character as well. Also some detectable grassy and lemony notes (thought the latter is very, very mild). There is some hop bitterness throughout but especially in the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit coarse, and the carbonation is just a wee bit flat (but not really THAT bad).
Its not really too bad, but its far from amazing. The flavor is a little TOO grainy, and the mouthfeel falls a little short. Still, if you like pilsners, this is the ale for you; it really does have a lot in common with that style. Like I said, its really not bad, so while there are many better beers at Harvest Moon to try, if you have had all those, this one is worth at least a try. Recommended (but only if youve already tried their other beers).
