16 ounce glass poured at the brewpub. This beer has a dark brown color with a reddish tint. Roasted malt aroma. The flavor is roasted and malty, but not very thick. I don't detect any chocolate flavor. There is too much of an acidic quality. The finish is unexpectedly hoppy. The mouthfeel is a little thin. Good drinkability. This stout is pretty good, but I would prefer if it was a little maltier.
