Pours murky/muddy orangeish brown with a thin head that soon becomes small patchy spots.
The smell is of some pumpkin spices with caramelish maltiness. Something of an intoxicating, spicy O-fest about the aroma.
The taste is spicy - peppery alcohol with some pumpkin spicies. Alcohol dominates the taste. It has a hot, spicy finish.
The body is medium to full and quite syrupy.
It's an imperial - not sure that it's pumpkin per se, but it's imperial. Maybe a mix of imperial O-fest and pumpkin. Alcohol mutes most of its potential.
A friend of mine brought this to share, but we had a hard time with it and had to switch. Too hot without enough to keep it interesting.

On tap at Harvest Moon - New Brunswick, NJ. This beer was served to me in a pint glass which was shocking.
Not sure if this volume was oversight, but I enjoyed it and took advantage with a couple of these- later realizing the powerful kick these had.
A: Darker than the usual pumpkin beer with relatively thin head and good lacing.
S: Here comes the pumpkin/earthy aromas and not too much sugar smells. Alcohol was also blatant but this one you could tell had some meat to it.
T: Thought this was all alcohol in the back of the taste in the beginning but got used to it real fast. The pumpkin flavorings were what I liked the toasty taste.
M: Not much carbonation but chewy and like eating pumpkin bread. Toastlike texture.
D: Far too drinkable. You notice the ABV at first @ 9% but snuck up and kicked me in the ass later after enjoying a few.
