Good but generic orange & wit. Nothing wrong with it, nothing right though

Have had this beer on several occasions...on tap and in growlers.
Pours a nice golden color, unfiltered, with a fair head.
Obvious wheat presence upfront with notes of coriander, lemon, orange, and some grassy hops.
Pretty straightforward, overall; might be a little on the sweet side, but on a hot day, this is goes down easy as it is a balanced and solid wit.

First had: on tap at their brewery
I guess I'm just not into wheat beer that much anymore. Poured slightly hazy straw-yellow with a thin white head, some carbonation. Not much in the aroma: light citrusy hops, typical of a witbier. Light hops in the taste, mild citrus, and kind of metallic, with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Light body, but not the kind of beer I find too drinkable.

Pours a Honey color with an inch of head. Fades to almost nothing leaving lacing down the glass.
Smells like light spice and light orange. Not strong smelling at all.
Taste follows smell. Once again not a strong taste. Almost seems like they used an american ale yeast.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Refreshing is the word i would use.
Drinkability is decent. I wouldn't drink another glass right after the first.
Not a terrible example of the style, but not one of the bests.

Pours hazed straw yellow with no head - barely a thin wisp of a cover.
The smell is of doughy wheat tang with orange/lemon peel and a hint of coriander.
The taste is of candy sweetness with doughy wheat. Lemony with orange peel and coriander being pretty subtle for style. Some pepper in the rather fizzy/watery finish.
This is a worthy attempt and a rather decent brew, but seems a bit lacking compared to some others in the growing popularity of the style.

Pours a non-threatening light golden colour that is neither completely crisp nor completely cloudy in appearance but leans toward the former, which it kind of shouldn't. Head retention is average and lacing leaves some marking on the glass.
The aroma is a nice blend of orange, lemon and wheat. Simple but direct and effective.
The flavour is a bit more Belgian-like: citrus hits you again (to make the flavour much fruitier than the aroma would lead on) along with the wheat, but some of the Belgian yeast notes come through in each sip here along with a but of a sugar cane flavour in th back of each sip. Mouthfeel is very light bodied, possibly too light bodied as it seems a touch watery.
This is a pretty good shot at the style. A bit cloudier appearance with a heftier head would have been nice, along with some more carbonation in the mouthfeel. That said, those "flaws" really weren't that and just gave this one a bit more of a middle of the road feel than it should have. Worth a try.
