Been disappointed by Harvest Moon lately, but in the past week had 3 outstanding beers and 1 that was pretty good.
Pours a deep amber color with an inch of white head. Leaves no lacing down the glass.
Smell is of scotch, oak, vanilla, caramel malts, and herbal hops.
Taste is of oak and vanilla mostly. The caramel and herbal qualities are mixed in nicely.
Mouthfeel is full, but seems to be a little undercarbonated.
Drinkability is amazing. Had 2 in a row- very unusual for me to have any beer 2 in a row.
